Generator Guru Says:
When purchasing the valves we also suggest you buy new oil seals. More often than not, during the removal of the old valves, these seals get damaged and fail very soon afterwards. This results in oil seeping into the head and allows excess burning of engine oil. In extreme cases, this can blow the head and cause much more expensive damage in the long run.
You might also need to purchase new "Valve Spring Retaining Collets" and these often go missing during engine breakdown.
Valve Lash/Clearance:
Intake & Exhaust: 0.006 +/- 0.002 inches OR 0.15 +/- 0.05 mm
