Generator Guru says;
Complete Cylinder Head, comes pre-installed with; Valves and their Springs, Seals, Retainers and Rotator Caps.
Easy and quick to install. Saves a great deal of time as the Valves do not need to be grinded and the Springs do not need to be compressed to locate the Retainers.
Simply, locate the Head Gasket and Compartment seal, slide the new Cylinder Head down into place, tighten the nuts down, fit the Rockers, insert the Push Rods and set the Valve clearances. That is all there is to it!
Please see below for the recommended Torque values and Valve Clearances
- Cylinder Head Nuts: 53-56.9Nm or 39.0-42.0Lbft
- Rockers: 42.2-46.1Nm or 31.1-34.0Lbft
You need to adjust your valve lash clearances to:
- Intake: 0.006" +/-0.002 (0.15mm +/-0.05)
- Exhaust: 0.006" +/-0.002 (0.15mm +/-0.05)
