Description

Replacement Carb Carburettor Stepper Motor

WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE THE PLASTIC BASE WHEN TESTING OR CHANGING THE MOTOR. JUST UNSCREW MOTOR FROM TOP OF PLASTIC HOUSING.

Generator Guru Says:

This motor is designed to lower the idle when the generator has no load, conserving fuel. If the throttle control system fails, your generator will fluctuate when running. Contact us for further test procedures to determine whether the Control Motor, the Switch or the Inverter has failed.

You will need to undo the screw and remove the Round Fuel On/Off Switch from the front of the generator before removing the housing. When taking apart the generator housing to replace the part, be sure you take note of all the small parts that make up the support of the engine to the housing, and how they fit back together. This can be a tricky job, so assistance from another person when taking the housing apart and reassembling it, might make the job much easier and quicker!
