We suggest you change your Carb Gaskets at the same time as this part. The Engine Insulator protects your carb from the heat of your engine and prevents unwanted ignition of fuel caused by heat. Be sure this part is in good condition and that both of the gaskets create a firm seal, or the fuel efficiency of your generator will be compromised and it may present a fire hazard.
